ABOUT THE ROLE
The purpose of ourFinance Internis to assist in the posting of daily journal entries and helping in the reconciliation of account receivables and payables, banks, bill payments or inventories.
· Assist with preparing financial reports and invoices
· Journal entries into Odoo
· Involved in the preparation of month-end closing activities, and be responsible for the maintenance and further development of management reporting
· Provide supporting document to bank and follow up
· Assist with preparation of annual budgets, forecasts and audits
· Assist with ad hoc projects as directed by company
· Research problems and handle queries as assigned using internal systems
Requirements
ABOUT YOU:
The ideal candidate must beanalytical with high attention to detail, have exceptionallyhigh ownership, excellent critical thinking skills and the ability to work with agility in a fast-paced environment. They would also be insanely focused on demonstrating excellence in service delivery; other qualifications include:
· BCom in Accounting
· At least 1 year of experience in a finance role
· Advanced excel level
· Thorough knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures
· Experience in audit and international accounting ad added advantage
· Working knowledge of accounting software platforms, an added advantage
· Strong detail and deadline orientation
· Personal integrity; ability to keep customer and company confidences
