Responsibilities
- Manage the overall operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and distribution of goods
- Ensure efficient inventory management and accurate stock control
- Implement and enforce operational policies and procedures to optimize efficiency and productivity
- Oversee the maintenance and proper functioning of warehouse equipment
- Manage a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, coaching, and training as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate the efficient flow of goods and resolve any issues or delays
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
- Analyze warehouse performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Operations Manager or similar role in the FMCG industry
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management principles
- Experience with warehouse management systems and related software
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
