Hire Resolve’s client in the Food Manufacturing is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced Electrician to join their team in the Western Cape.
Responsibilities
- To do electrical, electronic, electro-mechanical work, including schedule activities, installations and fault finding on equipment, buildings and systems. Including project work.
- All installation work done to comply with SANS 10142 Parts 1amp; 2.
- Ensure optimal plant performance, so as to achieve OEE targets.
- Duties include but will not be limited to
- Safety Checks
- Circuit and system measure and analysis.
- Control system design and construction
- Faultfinding on electrical and electro-mechanical systems
- Servicing of equipment
- Wiring for power and control circuits
- Waterproofing of electrical equipment
- Wiring of premises
- Breakdown repairs
- Detailed feedback on work done, failures, materials used, time used
- System improvement plans amp; recommendations
Requirements
- Qualified Electrician and at least N5 certificate
- Experience working in FMCG plants with refrigeration equipment as well.
- Experience working with electronic grading systems
- Experience working on refrigeration plant and equipment control systems
- PLC programming experience
- Candidates should have own transport.
- Experience in HT switching would be advantageous.
- Root cause analysis (5 Why’s etc.)
- Structured problem solving
- Experience with Variable speed drives.
- Team work
- Good communicator
