Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire production process, including monitoring production flow, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing strategies for improvement.
- Manage a team of production workers, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as Quality Assurance and Maintenance, to address any production issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
- Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure materials are available for production.
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures to optimize production efficiency.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop production goals and objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in a production supervisor or similar role within the manufacturing industry.
- Knowledge of wine cork production processes and machinery.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving production issues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets and deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with inventory management systems and software.
