Video Editor (short-term contract / freelancer)

Job Description
We’re looking for an experienced Video Editor to join our production team in Cape Town! We are looking for the right fit in personality - so if you feel like you’d fit in with a bunch of film nerds or crafty catties then give us a go. Our video editors work closely with our amazing learning design team and video producers to create visually compelling learning videos. These range from standard piece-to-camera and interview videos to creative narrative edits and marketing content. Think engaging, beautiful content and not your classic green screen lecture video.
Construct is a full-service online learning partner, dealing with projects and clients from all over the world in all kinds of industries. Our ideal new team mate should have some knowledge or experience within the EdTech industry, and should be a dynamic, problem-solving person with diligence for attention to detail.
Only applications with CVs and showreels or relevant example work will be considered - please, no music video edits or abstract art.
Responsibilities
• Edit videos and audio to brief, ensuring creative solutions are met
• Facilitate reviews of work and implement feedback
• Update various progress platforms as you work (Trello, Slack, OA, etc)
• Attend meetings as needed
• Provide creative input and a learning voice to your work
Requirements

Skill level: Mid-Senior
4+ Video Editing experience
EdTech or similar experience
Adobe CC Suite proficiency
