RPO Recruitment is seeking a Technical Lead/Project Manager to join our client's team. As the Technical Lead/Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, development, and execution of engineering projects from start to finish. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants, to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact in the civil engineering industry and contribute to the success of our clients.
- Lead and manage engineering projects, ensuring adherence to project objectives, timelines, and budgets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans, including scope, schedule, and resource allocation.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, ensuring the implementation of best practices and industry standards.
- Monitor project progress and take proactive measures to address any issues or risks that may arise.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare project reports and presentations, summarizing project status, key milestones, and outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering project management.
- Professional Engineering (P.E.) license preferred.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, practices, and standards.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Sound decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
