Job Description
RPO Recruitment is currently seeking a Production Supervisor to join our client's team. As a leading recruitment agency in the Mining amp; Metals industry, we are dedicated to finding the best candidates for our clients' needs.
As a Production Supervisor, you will play a vital role in overseeing and managing the production process in our clients' mining operations. You will be responsible for ensuring that production targets are met, quality standards are upheld, and safety protocols are followed. Additionally, you will be tasked with leading a team of production workers, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
- Coordinate and oversee day-to-day production activities in the mining operations.
- Ensure that production targets are met according to the production schedule.
- Implement and enforce safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of production workers, providing feedback and coaching as necessary.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize production processes and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any potential hazards or maintenance needs.
- Monitor and control production costs to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Maintain accurate production records and reports for management review.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within the mining industry.
- In-depth knowledge of mining operations and production processes.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proven track record of meeting production targets and maintaining quality standards.
- Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and protocols.
