Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and analyze business problems
- Develop statistical models and algorithms to extract insights from complex datasets
- Apply machine learning techniques to predict and optimize key business outcomes
- Design and implement experiments and conduct A/B testing to evaluate hypotheses
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner
- Continuously assess and improve the accuracy and effectiveness of models and algorithms
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in data science and technology
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
- Proven experience working as a Data Scientist in the FinTech industry
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or R
- In-depth knowledge of statistical modeling, machine learning, and data mining techniques
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark is a plus
