Why this role exists

We are looking for an Outbound Sales Development Manager with experience in lead generation, training/development, process improvement, data/reporting, team performance/productivity and pipeline generation to ensure revenue growth. You will be reporting directly to our Director of Outbound Sales. You will help manage the day-to-day operations of a portion of our outbound SDR team.


The Impact that You will Make:

  • You will be responsible for hiring, onboarding, coaching, managing, and retaining a team of 6-10 overachieving SDR’s
  • You will lead your team toward achieving ambitious targets quarter after quarter
  • You will roll up your sleeves and join calls, tweak emails, host cold call reviews and do SQL retros, always looking for ways to improve each SDR and your entire team
  • You will evolve your team to be above the curve and focus on over leading gt; 80% of the team to be gt; 80% to quota attainment
  • You will lead SDR meetings and at least two 1:1s per week, per SDR to help increase the SDR’s technical and business acumen
  • You will help us improve and implement our always-evolving outbound sales playbook
  • You will establish and implement best practices for maximizing pipeline creation and HubSpot hygiene
  • You will contribute towards and maintain reporting across tools like HubSpot, Looker, and Chilipiper and administer systems (HubSpot, Lusha, Trellus, LI Sales Navigator, ClearBit, etc.)
  • You will partner with Sales leaders to develop outbound strategies across use-cases, intent signals, personas, and industries
  • Most importantly, you will lead by example and genuinely care about lifting the team up


Location: Remote/Global

Working Time Zone: Eastern Time - Mountain Time (U.S.)

Base Salary: $1,400 USD per month, with variable compensation based on team performance

Requirements

  • Outbound sales experience required
  • You must have at least 1 year of outbound sales lead gen experience, preferably in SaaS/Tech (you’ve been an SDR)
  • You must have at least 2 years of experience as an outbound SDR leader, preferably in SaaS/Tech
  • You ideally have a background in SMB and Mid Market sales environments
  • Experience working with a global sales team
  • Experience working in a high velocity, cold call + cold outreach environment (150+ touches/day)
  • Hands-on experience using and optimizing CRM softwares (we use HubSpot) and other sales productivity tools (think dialers, sales intelligence platforms, data platforms, etc)
  • Experience working in a startup environment
