Trackless Production Supervisor - Mining Industry - R900K - R700K

RPO Recruitment's client is a great mining company in Gauteng, which is seeking the expertise of a Trackless Operations Supervisor to join their team in Pretoria.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, health, environmental, regulatory and related standards, regulations, and instructions, relevant Codes of Practice and the escalation process where deviations and non-compliance are observed
• Ensure the establishment of safe, efficient and proper operation/use of all machinery, equipment and infrastructure identifying areas of remedial intervention as required
• Actively provide and demonstrate Visible Felt Leadership in line with safety, health and environmental standards.
• Accurate and timeous reporting of all relevant safety and production matters
• Maintain effective people management practice by ensuring that roles and competencies are clearly defined, and that effective team delivery is maintained
• Coach and guide front line leaders (FLL) to assume and maintain effective and direct leadership accountability over their operational teams in respect of safety management, shift planning, work assignment and direction, planned task and observations

Requirements

• Grade 12
• National Diploma in Mining Engineering
• Blasting Certificate for Scheduled Mines
• Production Supervisor Certificate
• Minimum 3 years at Shift Supervisor Level
• 5 - 7 years’ experience as a Shift Supervisor in a trackless mining environment.
