AUTO24, the fastest growing certified pre-owned marketplace for cars in Africa, is seeking a Marketing amp; Communication Assistant to join their new team in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Reporting to the Marketing amp; Communication Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing and communication strategies to increase brand awareness and promote the company's products and services.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the automotive industry, exceptional organisation and communication skills, attention to details, a can-do attitude and willingness to do better each day!
Responsibilities
- Assist the Marketing and Communication Manager to implement comprehensive marketing and communication strategies to increase brand awareness, drive sales, and promote AUTO24's products and services
- Create and manage marketing campaigns across all channels to engage with existing and potential customers
- Develop marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, and advertisements
- Conduct market research and analyse consumer behaviour to identify trends, opportunities, and threats
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Customer Success, BD and Partnership) to implement sales and marketing programs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in marketing or communications, with a focus on the automotive industry
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing and communication strategies
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze market data and consumer behavior
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a strong focus on results and customer satisfaction
