The goal of the Senior Product Manager is to help advance the Learnlight vision to help people develop the skills they need to build a brighter future, by developing impactful products that drive retention and experience excellence. This includes leading from inception to completion on all strategic product processes that impact on learner experience, including cross-departmental initiatives.

As a seasoned product professional, they’re successfully and seamlessly managing the product(s) throughout the Product Lifecycle, defining the product vision, identifying user pain points, gathering, and prioritizing product and business requirements, exploring, and introducing market-leading innovation, and working closely with stakeholders to deliver successful products.

Responsibilities

Research amp; Intelligence

  • Shape and influence broader Product roadmaps with focus (your part of) the Learner Experience, combining client feedback, stakeholder input and analytics to prioritize the most valuable work.
  • Collaborate with other Product Managers for related Experiences as appropriate to ensure full alignment on vision and best product-market fit.
  • Collaborate with the rest of the Product team, as well as Technology (Ops, Design and Engineering) and Operations to find the most impactful solutions for learners’ problems.
  • Contribute to the AI strategy aimed at broadening the impact of learner experience.
  • Contribute to frameworks and best practices around product and experience management.
  • Seek data insights to evaluate and measure the existing product performance or new opportunities in collaboration with the Learning impact, UX Design and others.

Product Development

  • Lead product development, strategy, and redesign from concept through development to market launch and eventual retirement.
  • Drive the product delivery and implementation, including Backlog grooming.
  • Define features and write clear user requirements that communicate the core need and value.
  • Define and measure against success metrics for your product that take into account learning impact, experience excellence and market goals.
  • Create alignment and sustain relevant communication with your stakeholders.
  • Co-ordinate with Product communications and with Marketing team on launch processes.
  • Assess and mitigate risks.

Documentation amp; Training

  • Coach other Product Managers and champion product development best practices.
  • Participate in show amp; tell sessions, adapting content to audience needs.
  • Ensure all documentation and supporting resources remain up to date and relevant.
  • Provide training to internal teams on how to best make use of the features released.

Requirements

Education amp; Experience

  • 5+ years working as a Product Manager in an EdTech company
  • Experience and / or strong understanding or side project implementing AI in product
  • Experience and / or strong understanding or side project with mobile Apps
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred but not required, if strong experience is present
  • Evidence of continuous professional development in product and EdTech topics
  • Strong expertise in Agile principles of product management
  • Understanding of design, learning and behavioral science
  • Experience with both learner and trainer f
