Krypton Mining, a leading provider of mining solutions in Africa, is seeking a Portfolio Administrator for a 5-month contract. The Portfolio Administrator will be responsible for assisting the Global IM Central Portfolio Delivery team with key tasks and activities pertaining to portfolio finance, governance and compliance and resource management. The required candidate would need to present abilities and experience in financial processing as well as having excellent interpersonal skills, as working within a bigger delivery team is key to the success of the role.
Responsibilities
- Support the project and programme management team with cost estimation including the development and maintenance of cost databases.
- Assist with procurement activities ensuring efficient and economical purchasing practices are used.
- Manage all contracts for the company, including the monitoring and enforcement of contractual requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation control through all stages of the mining value chain.
- Identify and mitigate risks on an ongoing basis, reporting these to the project and programme managers.
- Work collaboratively with the rest of the project and programme team to ensure successful delivery of projects.
- Assist with other project or programme-related tasks as requested.
Requirements
- Project Management certification Prince II Foundation
- +5 years’ experience in a global IT environment
- SAP experience
- Good Financial background of general accounting principals
