We are seeking a Software Support Engineer with 3+ years of experience to join our team in our Cape Town office.
Key Responsibilities
Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers, quality assurance, and product owners) to troubleshoot and identify system solutions
Identify and articulate technical issues and escalate to the development team
Work with the Production team in delivering and testing projects and new functionality.
Interact with the Helpdesk team to provide support to the team in investigations to ticket escalations as necessary
Skills Requirements:
Working knowledge of SQL
Experience with API and Web Services troubleshooting
Experience working with development and QA teams
Analytical and problems solving skills required
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Pro-activeness and independence.
Working knowledge of JIRA and other internal systems
